This last week I've been learning how to crosshatch! I've always wanted to learn how to make those amazing drawings in pen, but I never thought I'd be able to do it. I am a perfectionist, and mistakes are permenant in pen, so I thought it would be extremely frustrating. I'm kind of obsessed now though! I watched a couple of youtube videos to help with some of the technique. Here are a couple of my practice pieces.

Hey guys! I had been using wix for my website, but I have decided to change to weebly because it's much less complicated. I have been working on this piece for a few weeks, but due to spring break and having fun binge watching horror films with my buddies I have not completed much art work lately. I'm super excited to share this new piece with you guys though! It has so much meaning to me, and it's actually one of my first charcoal pieces that's not a still life. This is my second piece using charcoal ever. This is a picture of my twin brother and I at our favorite places that we called the camp! We spent so much time there during summer swimming, fishing, tubing, exploring and more. This was our favorite place to be and it still is for me.
